Now is the time to grow chilies in your garden, they are ideally grown in a warm environment and are very versatile for planting.

Neville's Tips and Facts

  • Chilies originated from the warm regions of South America and have since become an essential ingredient in most international cuisines.
  • Chilies are a good source of vitamin C and stimulate and boost our metabolism.
  • When planting chili's you will need to make sure they are positioned right so that the plants get a good amount of light. They like full sun.
  • If you are planting in pots be sure to use good compost that will retain moisture, as they will grow well in fertile soil.
  • Once established your chilies will take a few weeks to grow and even a few more weeks to turn from green to red.
