Neville visits the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne and uncovers a huge variety of edible plants.

Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne:

  • The Royal Botanic Gardens was established in 1846.

  • Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne is recognized as one of the world’s finest botanic gardens.

  • There are over 10,000 species and 50,000 individual plants in the 38 hectare gardens, including trees and plants of great cultural value.

  • The gardens are home to native wildlife including black swans, bell birds, cockatoos and kookaburras.

  • The Royal Botanic Garden is open 7.30am to sunset every day of the year and entry to the gardens is free of charge.
