Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne is recognized as one of the world’s finest botanic gardens.

There are over 10,000 species and 50,000 individual plants in the 38 hectare gardens, including trees and plants of great cultural value.

The gardens are home to native wildlife including black swans, bell birds, cockatoos and kookaburras.

The Royal Botanic Garden is open 7.30am to sunset every day of the year and entry to the gardens is free of charge.
