Repairing your lawn

Episode: Six
Date: 9th of May
Story: Repairing your lawn
Presenter: Trevor Cochrane

Now that we have some autumn rains arriving and the soil is still warm, it's a good time to fix lawn patches. Your lawn may have suffered from the heat, humidity, pests and even diseases, so Trevor shows us how to get them back in shape.

Quick Tips and Facts

  • Treat dry patches with a wetting agent.
  • Make sure dog patches are soaked to wash the excess nitrogen into the soil.
  • Add some soil improver or potting mix over the patch before sowing the lawn repair. Trevor recommends ?Coir peat potting mix.?
