You know gardens just don?t have to look pretty with beds of flowering plants; they can actually be practical as well. These days more and more people are searching for a fresh organic alternative and what better way than to grow your own.

Grow your Own Herbs kits from Yates are amazingly easy to use. Each pack contains a pot, potting mix, seeds and even fertilizer. Fill the container with the mix; just leave a little for later. Lightly sow a small amount of the seeds then cover with the remaining mix and water in well. Place this in a sunny position and keep moist.

They will be ready to harvest in about six weeks and just take as much as you need.
