Ruscus
Episode: #5 30/09/2006
Presenter: Neville Passmore
Neville takes a look at the interesting and fabulous Ruscus (Ruscus Hypoglossum) which can make an excellent ground cover in your garden along with some other interesting qualities.
The Ruscus has little flowers right in the middle of what appears to be the leaf, but is in fact the modified stem.
When the foliage is cut it can be left in water for up to three or for months and it will still be alive and looking green.
