There are always plenty of jobs to get done in spring and if you own a large property it can quickly turn into a lot of work. That’s why we have machines and Phil showed how a decent tractor and a brush chipper can get the work down in no time leaving you more time to kick back and relax.
The East Wind tractor is loaded with features and is ideal for small acreage farming as well as large garden projects. It has a lovely compact design and its got power steering too which makes it easier to drive, particularly around tight curves. The tyres are a multi purpose tyre so you can drive over your lawn areas as well as knock around the paddocks.
It will do everything you expect from a tractor and more, it is a mower and it will turn acres of grass into manicured lawn in no time. It also has a rotary hoe which is great for preparing large garden beds. Planting trees is easy as the machine has a mighty auger, which takes out all the back breaking work. Spreading mulch is a breeze because the East Wind can also be a front end loader.
Every property inevitably ends up with a pile of woody material ripe for mulching. A gutsy wood chipper will turn all this waste into valuable compost and mulch in seconds. The powerful C13 from Hansa is driven by the power of the tractor, which gives you loads of muscle.
There is also a free standing version with an easy start petrol engine. Both will eat up branches up to 90mm thick with no problems at all. You can even put through your palm fronds aswell as paper and cardboard. They are simple to operate and very smooth. They will discharge cleanly into a trailer, wheelbarrow or directly into the garden.

The output and running condition of the engine is easily monitored from the comfort of the operator’s seat. Neatly fitted into the dash is a one piece, sealed, combination instrument panel.
The DF354’s user friendly three point linkage kit, allows for the use of a wide range of farming implements. The solid top link, mid links and semi-rigid sway chains are all fully adjustable. Combine these features with the tractors powerful lifting strength, and you have a linkage kit that is a leader in its class!

Produces natural free compost and/or mulch. Self feeding action. High discharge into trailer, barrow, garden or stockpile. Easy starting with manual clutch and twin belt drive. Easy to operate and transport. Solid housing construction of 5mm steel plate. One infeed chute with large opening at convenient operating height. Standard and Road Trailer versions available.
