Our Garden Centre of the Week has to be the quintessential nursery for lovers of tropical plants and it’s a great place to visit if you want to learn more. The Garden Centre is Palms for Brisbane.
The first thing that hits you as you enter the centre is the incredible selection of tropical plants, there is layers and layers of colourful foliage and flowers. There is one of the largest collections of palms and cycads you’ll find anywhere from the small pots right up to the super advanced.
Many people believe tropical plants need a lot of water, but in fact many are quite drought hardy. This includes palms as a lot them grow naturally in dry land regions.
