Story: Starting From Scratch with Shapescaper
Episode: 7
Presenter: Dan Foreman
Air Date: 3 October 2026

After a freak wind event caused major damage to this large sloping property, the garden needed a complete rethink. Rather than simply restoring what was there, the team used the opportunity to create a new garden that worked with the natural slope and stunning views.

• Landscaper Drew helped bring the new garden design together, using the natural shape and levels of the property to create a functional outdoor space for the whole family.
• Shapescaper’s modular system can be adapted to suit different shapes, levels and spaces, making it a versatile solution for challenging landscapes.
• The system can be used for defining garden beds, creating retaining structures, and connecting different areas of a landscape.
• From smaller suburban gardens to large properties like this one, Shapescaper provides the flexibility to solve landscaping challenges while adding creative flair.
• What started as a devastating event has given this garden a fresh start, creating a landscape that works with the character of the property and is ready to be enjoyed again.
