Nigel reminisces on a past trip he went on many years ago where he learned about a traditional use of mulberry tree leaves..

• Nigel and Geraldine learn about traditional Thai silk making.
• Mulberry leaves are the staple diet of silkworms.
• The process starts with the moths mating and laying eggs which become larvae. The larvae eat for about 25 days until they create cocoons.
• The cocoons are dried and then boiled to release a single thread of silk. The threads are then spun into bundles of silk yarn.
