The seaside suburb of Mount Maunganui is a quaint and lovely place to do a bit of shopping or eating with its charming caf? strip. Being a bit of a plant nutter, the surrounding trees and bushes are what really impress Neville.
The Renga Renga or Rock Lily (Arthropodium cirratum) is one of New Zealand?s horticultural gifts to the world. This plant is as tough as all get up and can handle drought as well as frost.
While it looks good all year round, when it bursts into bloom at the early summer stage it simply steals the show.
