Here is some classic potted inspiration for you to add colour to your entertaining areas all summer long.

Melissa takes a look at what appears to be a tradition Hydrangea, but with a great modern twist. It blooms on both old and new wood, so it repeat flowers which means you get the large colourful flowers all season long, hence the name Endless summer (Hydrangea macrophylla ?Endless Summer?).

Not only is it repeat flowering, but it is also tougher and more mildew resistant than other mop-head types.

It is ideal for containers in your outdoor living areas because it blooms just when you are outside to enjoy it. You can also have a bit of fun manipulating the flower colour in pots.

Because Endless Summer flowers on new wood, you can encourage it to flower more by removing the spent booms.

A classic beauty with modern appeal needs a pot to match.
