Dean is at one of his favourite restaurants, Relish Restaurant and Caf?, to help them solve a few problems and to make the entry look great. It is a perfect space for an indoor garden and he will also show them what they can do with all their kitchen waste.

The entry is a slither of unused space that everyone looks at. It is a great opportunity to help build the theme of the restaurant and do something with a little bit of Japanese flavour but give it a modern twist.

Motyaj are just releasing their new range of self irrigating, light weight pot range. Dean loves them and the great thing is they tell you when the plants need watering. They are perfect for indoor gardens or even a balcony. Motyaj are available at most independent garden centres.

The Lechuza pot range looks like it is ceramic, but they are really a high quality plastic. In the base is a unique watering system that purifies the water and allows the plants to drink when they need to. The indicator on the side lets you know when to water. It couldn?t be simpler.

Dean plants the garden with some clumping bamboos and adds some white gravel for an instant effect. Now that the entry looks great, Dean moves into the kitchen to show you a clean and tidy way to deal with all your kitchen waste.

Hans cooks up something great from the Delish Book and all the kitchen waste is going to go into the Bukashi Kitchen Composter from Enviropower Australia. It will take anything from green leaves to prawn shells and it won?t smell a bit.

Bukashi uses a mixed culture of beneficial micro-organisms to basically pickle whatever you put in. All you need to do is compress the waste and sprinkle a thin layer of the Bukashi mix, then seal the bin. When the process is finished, it breaks down very quickly in your garden, and your plants will just love it.
