Rose Sucker Hint
Episode: #10 4/11/06
Presenter: Trevor Cochrane
One of the biggest mistakes rose lovers make at this time of year is cutting the suckers that are shooting out from the base of the rose bush.
It is actually the root stock that is suckering up and it can overtake the bush if you don?t remove it completely as cutting it just encourages it to spread.
To remove it, just push down and pull it away. Telling the difference between the root stock is quite easy by comparing the foliage, as they are quite different.
