Paving really helps defines a garden. The clean lines and smooth finishes can make any area look stylish. Their large format pavers are brilliant. They replicate traditional Mediterranean flagstones and, due to their larger size, also help create a feeling of space in even the smallest courtyard. While this sandstone colour is very popular, the other 5 colours including caf? and mid grey are definitely worth considering.

The pavers can be finished in either a non slip cut stone texture or a smooth sheen and at 4 pavers to the square metre it is so easy to work out how many you need.

The recent Royal Adelaide Show really relied on Hewnstone to keep its horticultural displays together. Row upon row of Hewnstone retaining walls held thousands and thousands of plants carefully in place.

With their quarry cut stone finish the retaining walls surrounded all the flower beds throughout the pavilion. They showed off the impressive displays of ranunculus, orchids and mixed plantings that were, as always, a great hit with all show visitors.

While the bull nose capping provided a clean finished edge to the walling it also doubled as much appreciated seating for many tired bodies. The capping comes in a slip resistant finish that is perfect for steps and swimming pools.

Hewnstone also create a unique range of outdoor tables in both round and square styles which are durable and available with both wrought iron and stone legs. Hand painted ceramic tiles can also be added to the top for that individual touch, making them a very special piece in your garden.

Tall Tuscan urns, pedestals and planters are always impressive and look absolutely stunning displayed either on pavers or placed in a garden setting.
