The Gurus would like to say sorry to all of you who searched high and low for our special range of scrumptious vegetables last season. We could never have dreamed there would be so much interest and were simply overwhelmed and they sold out everywhere. The good news is we have a brand new range for spring as well as some favourites from autumn.
The first release seedlings include the incredibly popular Broccolette branching broccoli, Honeysnap peas, Redback spring onions, Baby Butter lettuce released in autumn. The broccolette has proven to be the most popular by far as it is simple to grow and buying a punnet of seedlings produces a large crop.
The new release varieties include a delightful red bunching salad onion we've called Mt.Vesuvius. It is brilliant for salads as well as for cooking. It produces small to medium-sized bulbs with a mild, almost sweet flavour - you'll love it. Plant them from August to October and again from December to March.
Chilli Costa Rica - Hot, Black and Beautiful is an outstanding feature plant with black foliage and stunning black to hot red edible fruits that really pack a punch. Chilli Costa Rica is the first black-leaf chilli and has young foliage that is green and matures to a glossy black. It was chosen by The Gurus after it took out the best chilli awards in the European industry.
