Prepare your garden with Seasol before you leave on holiday to ensure that it's weatherproof.

• Apply Seasol before hot weather to reduce the stress that plants endure, as it will keep the plant’s stomata smaller, which reduces the transpiration of moisture from the plant to the atmosphere.
• Secondly, applying a wetting agent will reduce evaporation and increase moisture content in the soil.
• Once the soil is wet, add an organic soil improver that helps hold the moisture near the surface and adds nutrients to the soil. Seasol – PowerFeed Plant Food Granules are an all-purpose plant food that has beneficial microbes and dynamic lifter.
• Add this to the soil by either laying it on the surface or cultivating it in and then simply water it – this will activate the microbes and get the nutrients to work!
